Trunk Rubber Seal

Hi All.
I believe the trunk rubber seal on the 70 RR is glued on ??
Can anybody advise me on what I should use please ?

Contact adhesive such as Evo Stick I believe.

Steve's right, I used Evo stick as well...still leaked though!

, also thought about smearing sicko-flex /wing scene glue on the flange instead ,or some of that 3M super trim adhesive ?

I would advise not to use sikaflex,yes it does bloody stick, but a bit to much. If ever needed to remove that rubber again you would end up destroying it. Also you would rip off all the paint around it.
Stick with the evo-stick.

they have a slightly different section to the top and the bottom of the seal
its easy to get it wrong on a new seal that hasn't had years of compression to make this difference obvious.

I was unawhare!
Got the EVO-STIK but havent fitted it yet... Infact I havent done much else will have to get movin' and get it finished

wilkos do massive tubes of evo stick for 99p
prittstick on the other hand smells nice but doesn't work

I would imagine roofing nails wouldn't be too clever either...
