I saw one of these dragsters run an ex. run at Englishtown, NY in 1978. It was on the starting line, the tree went green and VOOSH . . . it was gone!
Time was 4.28 with a trap speed of 367 MPH. Still stands as the quickest run ever made at E-Town.
is this true?
