under side of car about £200 ,capabilities ,to remove paint ,will nott scratch ,etch and return original condition of factory metal , and if any rust will nott distory and end up being knackerd ,a freind of mine had his mk1 escort twin cam ,dipped and they had to scrap shell

,,when dipping your motor ,the asid will leave holes ,big holes ,as it eats all rust up ,so any rust areas will be f ------ , asid dipping is great if your shell is in good nick

but surely you want all the rust gone? why would you dip a car and want to leave the rusty bits still there? Surely blasting it would have had more or less the same result

Acid will eat anything that isnt 100% good metal.
But blasting will remove all the rust and other crap, but not eat away at good metal thats just a bit thin.
