Run To The Sun 2008 Newquay 24/25/26 May up for it??

Hello All

Anyone thinking of going to Run To The Sun 2008??
RTTS is mainly a VW event and is a big excuse for a weekend of partying near the seaside.

I took a corvette (yes I'm sorry but this was was pre mopar) two years ago and despite being surrounded by some quality VW campers/beetles etc there was a really good atmosphere.

I camped out when I went but I'm thinking of getting a caravan this year, this costs £100 per person and includes entrance etc. For another £40 (per person) you can extend your stay for a whole week.

I know its not a pure American event but there were around 30/40 yanks and rods there and all were very well recieved.

Anyway, check out www.runtothesun.co.uk for more info, I am happy to co-ordinate it all. Just turn up with a BBQ and Beer and thats pretty much the weekend sorted.

Regards

Justin

July? Its alaways been the end of May every year that i've lived here. Oddly, I keep my Mope in the garage for the weekend. The police have hit squads everywhere, the town is over run with divs driving standard cars and RTTS taped over the boot. Some good partying to be done, but make sure your motor is in A1 condition cos i saw some being effectively stripped by the old bill in searh of whattever.
Shame really, cos it would be nice to mosey around in the Dart given that the whole shebang is on my doorstep.

If you don't want to get a caravan and just camp in the fields the ticket cost is about £80 for the whole weekend. This includes ALL the entertainment over the 3 or 4 days.

I took the Twin cam herald in 94 I think it was, not been since. Had a good time but spent 13hrs waiting on Bodmin Moor for the RAC on the way home with a blown diff.
