They are Long horn Sonoramic cross rams from the 1959/60's Chrysler 300 and the like.

....not max wedge manifolds

Here you go, be quick ....about £370 at the moment

Sorry, but I think they look crap on that rod. Interesting in that they are quirky, but not because they are aesthetically pleasing. (I know, its supposed to be function over form, but that isnt always the driver in rod building)

Gotta agree with Clivey, for looks on a Rod you can't beat inline dual-quads, especially with the offset intake trumpet thingies on top :)

There is (or maybe was) an early sixties Polara (or something) up here that had the long ram manifolds on it.

A guy had it from new. He was in Canada and brought the car back to Scotland with him. Traded it in to the US car garage up here for an earlyeighties Olds Cutlass.

The last I heard (oh, about 15 years ago) Robbie Coltraine had it.

or tripples with the chrome caps and spikey studs on.

I have seen the set up many times before on ery late 50's v early 60's plymouths. Its a grat suprise to spring when the hood is opened, but as a central feqature of a car (or at least a very obvious feature at least????).

It aint a patch on a cross ram max wedge.
