That's a midplate Pete, they usually are pretty thin. You either have a spacer of equal thickness between crank and flexplate or between flexplate and 'vertor. On custom convertors you can have taller mounting blocks to make up the difference. Bottom line is, never run a midplate of any thickness without a spacer to ensure the convertor is still fully engaged into the transmission.

The aftermarket mid plate are steel and are about 1.5/mm thick and come with a spacer for your vertor, I'm pretty sure it's very important to space out the vertor the same as your mid-plate. :thumbright:
