Hi all,
Whilst the folks were clearing out the loft they came across this events card from 1981.
Neither know where they'd picked it up from as they're not into drag racing, and it wouldnt have been me as I was 10years old at the time.
Must say Sylvia Hauser

Why are there no (single) women around like that around anymore?????

I assume that is the old Rossi car, or is that a different one?
I thought it had a 452 with six pack tunnel ram???
I await to be educated by the (really) old guard....

it is the rossi car, the second challenger, the first a 440 sixpak 71 car, the second is the rossi car, it evolved a lot pete like all off us, started in the tens ultimately nines may have dipped a high eight but dont think so, think it ended up a 9.90 car always a crowd pleaser on the launches

Yes that's the Rossi car, it had several paintjobs to suit the sponsers. Ran a 400 based 440 (super stock legal) with a six pack tunnel ram. Ran 9.90 when they took 200lbs of weight out to run super gas.

Cheers Lad, would like to see more pictures of that car and the evolution.
Duncan, I take it your car is the first, then "Mopar Miss"?

Talking of launches, the Swedish guy that had it next, fitted a tunnel rammed hemi and a four speed

stood it on the bumper at the pod and wreaked the oil pan when it came down...

Wow! What sort of impact like that would have on the front frame rails - not the strongest in the automotive world....
