Was reading a thread yesterday about World products new blocks. One of the guys was speaking to Ray Barton on latest delivery for the new blocks and made the following comment

I just talked with ray on friday about a hemi block i ordered. They are having issues with the raised cam option, supposedly will be shipping out in about a week and then shipping across the pond from England said to add about another 3 wks.

I was surprised to hear they are being made in UK  Any one else aware of this or is it old news  or completely wrong info

Be good to find out who though or if it's true, might save us all a few $$$'s

Real Steel are the UK dealers for World Products.

Unit 9 Tomo Ind. Estate
Packet Boat Lane
Cowley, Uxbridge, Middlesex UB8 2JP
01895 440505

Might be worth a phone call to get some prices and delivery times.

Hi Mick,
Real Steel are only 20 mins away from me, remember going to them when they started importing cars in the early eighties, was dreamin of buying a 57 from them at the time. They are very good on Chevy stuff, but a little weak on Mopars. So make sure you know you part numbers in advance if you go there.

I was more interested in where World Products blocks were being cast, name of foundry, etc.
