Should the cardbord/thin wood pieces the run along each sail pannel go on the outer or inner edge of the piece of angle on the parcel shelf?

if you get what i mean.

If you mean the plastic window trim , then the cardboard has to go in first , the carboard is the first peice to go in anyhow.

what sort of insulation is that?

That wooly stuff is what I found bits of stuck behind my headliner. Sound deadening I assume.

It had soaked up moisture like a sponge by the looks of it so I decided not to replace it with anything.

I never got a chance to have another go at fitting my headliner at the weekend. Family stuff got in the way. Not finding it very easy to fit but will get there eventually if I can get the spare time.

Fitted the sail pannel boards, found all my headliner bows, think i might start putting the headiner in tomorrow.

cant decide weather to start from the back of the front?

I am still struggliing with mine. But then again I have not had much time.

It seems to me you need to pull the sides pretty tight first. Then the front and rear to get close. Then concentrate on the rear window and sail panels. Sort out the front last.

This is the aproach I am using anyway.

Had a try tonight.

Fitted the bows first on th roof, then slotted them in starting at the reear.
Hope i cut the interior light hole in the wright place.


Dont know where to go next with it?

should i get one side secure, then pull all the crases and wrinkles to the other? Then secure the back and pull to the front?


I take it i will need to trim some of the bow sleaves, espesially round the sail pannel?

once the bows are all in place and pulled forward, I worked from side to side to pull out the creases, get the edges securely clamped, then fit the front on and finally secure the back. I found the back area to be most tricky. Just take your time, it is frustrating when it`s not going right. When that happens, go for a cuppa and come back to it

Might have been a good idea to leave cutting the hole for and mounting the interior light until the very end though. Fingers crossed for you.

I am leaving mine until the weekend.
