I saw a Tic Toc Tac advertised for the 68 Charger the other day on ebay and it stated that it was only for the 'rallye' dash cluster... Not really into those big tachs, so wondered would this fit mine (std '68 383 se) and what the hell was a rallye dash- and is it any different to mine as it looked identical (except for the finish, which was mottled, instead of er..'ribbed' like mine?)...
Any ideas, as usual, gratefully recieved...

Not too bad thanks- glad to get that out of the way though! At least the ol gal has a garage she can call home now, instead of being on the driveway...just need to make some room now so I can get her out when the sun (ever) comes...
OOh ! Thats interesting.Jules wrote:Dan.... Just for your info mate.....![]()
IF you do buy 1 of the original tach's for your dash, and it turns out not to work due to a fried resistor or something (like mine was) then you can always restore it and get it working again with this........

A few resistors just crumbled away on my old circuit board, so I knew it was knackered. I tried these people and got real good service.
Followed the instructions and fitted it to the rear of my tach, and she now works a treat![]()
Piece of piddle to fit too![]()
Hope it helps.
