Looking to get the Cuda painted, what can I expect to pay for a paint job. I know thats a pretty open question.

Not looking for a top dollar show job, then again I don't want it to look like a bag of Bananarama!

Paint - 2 Pack /Base coat & Laquer - Black

Body - No rust, no panels require replacing

Glass Doors need a bit of work (1 days Labour per door ?)

Interior doesn't require painting.

Repaint bulk head & tube front (Engine, etc, willl be removed)

I'm in Heathrow area, but would be prepared to trailor within 50 - 70 mile radius.

Timing - Car available from Nov/Dec & would not mind if car not done till Feb/Mar

Any recommendations ...

As much as I admire JPC's work, I dont think I can be patient enough. Also, not sure my Cuda is in the same category to his normal high standard restoration work

Adam mentioned Dave Billadou, I need to find out his location & give a call I guess

www.carolinaclassics.co.uk 01264 321170 Was advertising resprays from £3K last year. Probably not to the JPC standard.

Do JPC do just "Standard" resprays or do they only do the full acid dip type Clivey/Phill440 treatment?

John does everything from a minor scratch repair, to full up resto show level paint work on Uber expensive classic italian motors.

Mark,

you are best off ringing John and talking to him. Just the price of a phone call. John turns round resprays as quick as anyone else. Don't forget I, and others had acid dipping and bodywork to do. You may remember John had a 70 satellite in for a respray. It was bare metalled and sprayed up in pale blue. No engine bay, underneath etc. interior not touched. Fab job and done very very quickly.
