Wilwood brakes

Looked at a set of these for my mate with his 70 camaro, wondered what these would be like for mine?
Shipping is $185, are they a worthy upgrade?

I've got them all round on the Dart but I haven't used them yet... Very nice quality though.

Put a set on mine but without the drilled rotors(front only)But like Blue I have not used them yet.They are $651.95 at Summit but I think the shipping would be a lot less with them.They will give you several prices on different shipping ways.Surface/air/Fed-ex etc.Give them and Jegs a try.I had mine from Jegs but bought them back in my suit case..

The discs themselves are not as good as the mopar 12" jobs (unless weight is your main concern).
The calipers also do not quite generate as much braking force as the stock (but 17.5lbs heavier) mopar calipers.
The best compramise between weight and street performance is to fit the 12" discs with the wilwood calipers. Something I intend to do in late 2005 or early 2006. I already have the 12" discs fitted. Just want the calipers to reduce the unsprung weight.

I've got the 12.5" vented Wilwoods on the back of the dart with the heavy duty vented disc set-up on the front with twin Tilton master cylinders, oh it does stop quick. Not sure about for the street though, but I ran the same front brake set up on tweety for years and never had a problem stopping, the pistons in one caliper finally seized up last year, but that was from neglect more than anything else.
