Finally got round to sorting thru, resizing & photobucket-ing 200 of the 400 pics I took at Vegas the other week :coffee:

http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h233/ ... =slideshow

Some are similar to Mark & Adam's pics already posted here but I figured 2 pics of a Super Stock Dart is better than none 8-)

Fri & Sat were sunny & warm, as you'd expect but Sunday turned pretty cold once the clouds came over and the wind picked up  Ok, not that cold compared to what we put up with at Santa Pod / Shakey / York, but when youve only got t-shirt'n'shorts on... #-o

I'll add some more from the rest of the 2 weeks over there, when I can..... in case anyone's interested :tumbleweed:

Few of my faves here...

etc etc....

PS just noticed there's some missing so I'll see if I can add them later tonite, without bananaramaing-up the photobucket link :geek:

What happened to that Duster?

Thanks Woody, I'll see what I can find ;)

Hi 'nana!
I think that was the only car that came to grief over the 3 days (up till we left 2ish on the Sunday anyway), tho there were (only) a few of oil-downs that delayed the racing. That Duster lost it after crossing the line so most people in the stand (where I was) were looking at the next pair who were already burning-out.
He hit the concrete wall head on (not very fast, luckily) so damage was limited to just the front end.
Still took about 20 mins to clear it all up tho

Hi Rob, I sat through and watched the whole show, superb pictures mate and thanks for posting.

It never ceases to amaze me how much attention to detail there is on some of those cars and that's not just the numbers matching original restos...but basically I love em all, apart from the late models with the locomotive wheels, they really don't do it for me.

I'd prefer the moth eaten New Yorker! :D

Great pics Rob. None at the Cannery? Here's one of you and the family (why is Andrew holding up a T shirt?), and Carolyn, pretending not to be impressed with that Foose style Charger.

Did you do the Shelby factory tour in the end?

Hi Adam, nah, dont seem to have much luck takin pics in the dark :( so didnt worry too much trying to get pics at The Cannery

Bit disappointed with the turn-out on the Thurs & Sat (didnt get there on the Fri), after hearing that it was the place to be for Mopars that weekend.

Still, it was good to see a multi-storey car park with a few Mopars buzzin around - saw Darts, Cudas, Dusters, Challengers coming and going and even a Superbird parked up near us on the Sunday. They must have much bigger spaces in their 'parking garages' as it didnt look out of place  8-)

The one I took of you next to that Charger (without flash) couldnt have been more blurred if Shakin Stevens had taken it while sneezing :D

Yes, we did get to the Shelby factory/museum/whatever - thanks for the tip off :thumbright: Well worth a visit.
Took a few ropey (too dark again  ) pics of the cars in the 'museum'/display area, but pics & filming isnt allowed in the production area :(
I'll post some of the pics in a separate thread with some general holiday snaps, over the weekend hopefully [-o<

Found a few more that slipped thru the net when I was copying them to Photobucket
I've added them to the album on Photobucket but have also copied them below.....
