Mooresville drags part 2

Hi everyone, I honestly expected this Thursday to be a repeat of last Thursday, but I was wrong!. Many different cars, but still the great atmosphere.
I paid the standard £3.50 to get in
and started taking pics. What is obvious to me now, is that this is not just Thursday night drag racing, this is a social event. Everyone brings cool boxes with beer,and everyone has banter with each other, even betting a few dollars on which car will win each race. It is very laid back and therefore very cool!! This week I spent a little time with Curt (Hemi Roadrunner from previous thread) who introduced me to his son who was piloting his wheel standing 65 Chevelle, and I met a slightly inebriated Charles, who is building a Shelby Dodge Omni GLH for the strip - ugly but his is no.360 out of 500 so pretty rare.
