Which is why I ALWAYS disconnect the battery when parked up. Imagine it happening in a row of cars at a show like wheelsday,or in your attached garage.

I was following his build on that site , the time & $$$$$ spent on that car was frightening , prob one of the best chargers in the world :shock: , the guy has posted on here a few times.

At least the car wasn't totalled,I remember seeing pics on here of the build,absolutely stunning.Let's hope that once his business is back on it's feet he can find the will to re do the car.

thought you had to disconnect the battery on these old knackers or else they flatten em within a couple off days, :shock: :shock:

One of these is handy if you need to keep clocks or radio programming going. The fused bit allows small current through. Any short that could cause a fire will blow the fuse first.

I had one of them Dave, there rubbish, kept blowing the fuse`s :roll: anywayway sorted it now i`ve put a nail in it instead, it don`t blow that :thumbright:
