Jims '65 Mustang Fastback

I have got three nice Mopars, but I also like early Mustangs. When this rust free example became available I couldn't resist it. Here's an update to the black 65 fastback I bought from our Budgie a few months ago:
The engine is a 5.0 EFI from an 89 GT Mustang, T5 5 speed manual gearbox. Vintage Air Conditioning, Custom Autosound 250w 'period' radio with ipod connection.
The Randalls rack and pinion fits real nice and seems to be an excellent design and quality. Richard Ward and I spent a lot of time looking into which system is the best. We are not convinced with some other rack and pinion conversions on the market. There are some poor designs out there. As far as i can see from blogs on US sites and user reports Randalls comes out as best with Total Control not far behind.
The same goes for the Total Control front suspension and Wilwood brakes. The standard V8 spindles are re-used. Everything fits easy. Wilwood master cylinder is used. I am assured a brake booster is not necessary with these brakes, which is just as well, it makes routing the clutch cable a lot easier. 17" wheels should look just right.
The rear end is a new nodular iron 9" with 3.25 gears and Tru Trac from Currie Enterprises, made to the stock width with Willwood discs with internal parking brake drums.
Rear suspension is currently remaining stock with uprated shocks and anti roll bars front and rear.
Gonna be nice.
