Anyone going just for the day and want to meet up, at Toddington Services on the M1 around 9-30am, could all cruise up together, If we folow Adam we could all get lost together.

Will not be at Billing, I will be in Austria for the football. My team at least qualified. Looking forward to a day trip to Vienna. Rumours abound that this is the last AACI Billing show and that all car shows will not happen in 2009 at that venue. Harry Tune and the gang are in for a show at Farnborough, Hants for 2009, rumoured to be the BIGGEST American car show in the UK ever. Lets hope the MMA can get a stand there.

I'm coming down in the Camaro... if it makes it Derek!!
There's a load of car shows held at Billing, You'd think they be mad to let that kind of revenue go eh?

Hopefully on the corner just along from the marquee..If its not afloat
Went to my 1st Billing AAC show in an Escort with a tent,in 1988.I for one hope this is not the end.
I know static shows have a lot of knockers but we love to go away for any excuse and if there are a few fields full of American cars then all the better..

My surname gives it away, Yes, I support my country team of Polska-Poland. After just loosing to arch rivals Germany, maybe should be at Billing and not Klagenfurt next week. Oh well, tickets paid for, hotels/planes etc booked. I will enjoy the atmosphere. Very sad about Billing though. Had some great times at that venue. The new owners do not feel that automotive events sit happily with the "new" type owners of luxury mobile homes etc, Also getting an entertainments/drink license has proved increasingly difficult to obtain, mainly due to objections by site owners/campers/caravaners. Lets face it we are looked upon by the vast majority as hoodlums and eco killers. Thank god the Mopareuronats is uneffected and we survive year after year, increasing our support. However, we too are under threat and need to show an increase every year, pleae support the show.

Thats a laugh

I wont say what I think about people whose idea of a holiday is to go to a caravan park in Northamptonshire, for fear of sounding snobbish

but I wouldnt have thought they would be able to look down their nose at anyone
Sorry, rant over
Yes Del, Toddy @ 9.30 sounds spot on

(you beat me to it, this time

)
Was a great cruise up there from Toddington a couple of years ago, hope the weather plays ball this year so we can do the same again
