Change out wire for wire is the cheapest option.
Do the ameter bypass wireing as highlighted in many of the tech threads - use the "search" facility at the top of the page.
I campletely re-wired my Challenger that way when the bulkhead connector cooked. You can buy spare terminals easily enough - try "vehicle wiring products". This is THE most cost-effective way of doing it. If you work through it systematically and test each connection you will be OK. I took the dash out of the Challenger for safety, that was a nightmare - a "B" body is easier INHO.
