69 Charger Geometry settings

Hi all,
Now that I have my rack and pinion steering setup installed I need to do a full geometry set up on a 4 wheel aligner.
Does anyone have details for the full geometry set up of a 69 Charger and/or is there a better set up than the original 60's settings?
Thanks

Yep, as much caster as possible in my opinion. Ignore factory settings.
People tend to worry about too much negative camber (top of wheel laying "inwards", but I do not care and have found no ill effects. Due to the nature of the eccentric cams on a Mopar there is always a trade-off on caster - camber.

Agreed. As much caster as posible but if you like going hard around corners stick half a degree of negative camber on there too.
On a street car you also want a little toe-in. Just 3mm will do.

Hi Phil
Where did you get your rack and pinion set up from, have you kept your torsion bar front or changed the whole set up?
Cheers

Does caster need setting first.

Hi Jason,
I got the steering kit from Year One, @ $945.00 which I though was pretty good as you can pay £400 for a rebuilt steering box. Not the easiest things to fit mind you, and I have lost some turning circle, but the driving is MUCH better

Not that I did the set up you understand so I'm no expert but, what we had to do was set up up the toe in 1st which knocked the camber out so then the camber which made the Castor out then the Castor which made the toe in and camber out....................bit of a round in circles game but the circles do decrease to a point where you have everything where you need it
My mate at work spent about 3hours on it as he's a bit of a perfectionist and was loving working on the car
I'll scan in the set up results next week, but Nathan commented that the "Thrust" of the car (which you have no real control over) was spot on!!! It drives sooooooo nicely now its untrue

Max +ve castor first. Then -ve camber. Half a degree is more than enough. A quarter might be enough for most driving. Then set toe.
You loose castor as you set negative camber. Nothing you can do about that.
If you do it the other way around you will be fannying around for ages and end up all over the place. Your mate did it the wrong way around Phill.
After setting toe you do have to re-check camber. But not castor.
