Just a few pictures from today. Great weather, great hog roast, great time from Miles - 14.234. And yes, Mike, Miles wants me to say I can confirm it's a genuine time as it's on the slip What'll he do when he puts those 3.9 gears in?
Hope everyone got home all okay. I've been put in the doghouse ever since but I don't care - I can easily sit in a kennel with a big grin! (Hmm I can see that line will start off the inuendo brigade).
Miles your reaction time on that run was 0.664, 60 foot was 2.245, trap 87.5.
Hope to see you guys at the Nats. Cheers - Simon

Cheers, Simon, nice to se you there. Good afternoon all round, Steve B and Mike stayed 'till late and made the most of it. Timing gear wasn't recording trap speeds properly.
Mike ran a low 14 at 3mph according to the slip! still, nice to go racing with a few mates, improve the Et's and not break anything!

Best meet yet, the Saturday was a bit dire due to the weather being pants but the Sunday more than made up for it.

New PB's for me and Mike too.
Mike and me both ran 14.281..the exact same time and i later found out that i'd run a 14.23 which is a 1/5 second faster than last September.
That said, we were both leaving the trans in Drive, manual shifting would probably shaved a touch more off..maybe!

...with apologies to Simon in the Charger
Note the lack of traction!

Hey Mike, is that tyre smoke or oil coming spiralling out of the back of Steve's ragtop?

Looks to be a great venue to go drag racing on a sunny day. Miles, With a sure grip and some traction, you should be in the 13's.

Blue, it was great fun, the trans worked a treat, picking up second gear wheels spins on the 2-3 shift at times.
Those sure grips do appear to be elusive or expensive.
Still, with 3.23 gears i was happy to shave a little more off the ETs

Blue is spot on, if Miles gets both legs running 13's will be assured
Just found this on youtube, Goldrush Gasser vs The Mach n Me, only one possible outcome I'm afraid
