Kev im jealous now mate as due to one of the Daughters exams and now me bloomin back i cant go this year so im looking @ next year but as we only went last year im shocked @ how much its gone up and normally i can haggle with the tour operator over the price but @ the mo they are saying pay up or bugger off basicly there is bugger all discounts due to the price of fuel. I see you went to Kissemee and the Drag stip brilliant venues both, did you find the food expensive as last year we found everything had gone up quite considerably, still mine and the familys favorite place to go as there is something to keep everyone happy and there is not many places that can do that and after all its not all about Disney as we generally due about 3,000..miles whilst we are there.

Moparkm, It was our first time there so not sure if the price of food has went up, thought the supermarkets were quite dear but eating out was pennies. Your right about the current prices of holidays it would seem we timed it right, we were only £2200 for 5 of us flights and 5 star hotel for 14 nights, almost double that to go now. Will definately be going back didnt have time to do everything we wanted to only seen wednesday night practice at the strip, brought back loads of goodies from Murrays speed shop on North Orange Blossom Trail, great guys to deal with and saved a bundle on shipping and taxes.

Kin ell Kev that was a steal of a deal as next year its going to be £4500.00
for a three star hotel for four of us. We used to eat out for about $35.00 and last year was costing nearer $60.00 which is still cheap but three times a day adds up. The supermarkets are dear and last year was roughly £1.00 for a packet of crisps and strange things cost a fourtune but if you buy cooked meats and stuff for days out that works out good.
Glad you enjoyed your first trip there trouble is it gets addictive as i have said before theres something for everyone.

 I AGREE we went last November for the big daddy show and the turkey run at daytona , we were there for 21 day an it cost £1,700.00 but next year there are Severn of us going and we are having a villa. The only way we can do it is to buy big and cook it all our selves. The price is going mad for every thing and not just over here :( it cost us over £1,700.00 for a week in Spain in may for five of us  and there was No motor to see  ALL I NEED IS A CREDIT CARD and some one to pay it off :thumbright:

I like the Volare wagon. Cool race car.

The white custom Thunderbird looks ace.

Just as a matter of interest, did the Javelin have the Pierre Cardin interior ?

Just paid £800 each for flights ..... Convert Mustang for three weeks £500.
House for 3 weeks £890. All under 3K for 3 weeks, still not bad.
