Mark Williams are probably the best out there, so is their price tag. Unless you have serious horsepower they are over the top for most uses.
Strange would be a close 2nd on my list
I guess its also down to size of shafts. 28, 35, 40 spline, etc. The more teeth on the circumference, the larger the diameter & greater the contact area.
I have heard good reports on Moser

Moser, Strange, Mark Williams, any of those would be strong enough for your application.

Bad luck on the halfshaft!
When you say broke, do you mean twisted off the splines, as per normal?
Obviously price is a factor, depending on power output to car weight.
Bargain basement is YUKON I should think, about 25% stronger than stock.
Rifle drilled Strange jobbies will set you back some???
