Bringing home from abroad

What is the allowance of cigarettes to bring back from Tenerfie? Not for my own consumption. Heard it may be 200 but not sure of this.

I thought that but thats the EU, and Tenerfie is in the Canary Islands, not being included in the EU

canaries are NOT in the EU so its only 200 per person, my parents do the canaries at least twice a year ( oh to be retired and an OAP
) the fags are cheap but the customs people are aware of this and do stop prople on these flights regularly so its not worth the risk.

Can I just say that cigs are cheaper abraod but not the same quality as u.k brands, always gave me bad chest. Stopped getting tham in the end. Then again I dont smoke anymore anyway.
