Plymouth Alpine White code W1 (same as Chrysler Spinnaker White code W1) is definitely a creamy white, check out the attached colour chip reference.
It's not the best reference, but it's definitely not a snow white. The Vanishing point car is more like Ford Diamond White, if you ask me...but that desert sun's quite bright innit?:D

What Ivor said.
Many of the Vanishing Point replicas are painted a brighter white than the Chrysler one just because it looks that bright in the film.

I used Ford Diamond White on the Sox, Richard kindly checked for me and S&M used Ford colours on their cars. Alpine is much more"creamy" than Diamond White.

i found it a nightmare choosing a white shade, apparently there are about 18 shades of diamond white, some whites shine blue, some look white till you are next to another white car then it looks cream!

Dunc, my car is Alpine White. The original mix. Have a look in members cars - there are pics of it. It has a very slight creamy grey touch to it when offered to the old kitchen appliances. Its a lovely white (if you could say such a thing)
