It depends on your requirements, what do you need? i.e. is it a personal site, business site, do you need more than one site hosting? Any server-side technology/database requirements?

Bit of both really. the personal, I think I can get a bit thru my ISP.

1&1 have some good packages, you can pick one that suits your needs. I have had dedicated servers with them for some years now. I can't say what their support is like though as I don't use it. http://order.1and1.co.uk
The people who host this site are have the most responsive support I've ever come across, they are cheap too, depending on what you want they could be a good option. http://www.5quidhost.co.uk/ (They'll probably look after you as well if they know you're in the MMA).
