Hold onto your hats boys, it's gonna be a bumpy ride!
Being old enough to have been through this recession nonsense three times in the past, my only advice is keep your head down and do your best because there is absolutely no point worrying about it.
DHL stitched my company up big time with an vital delivery to Germany and they even lied their way out of it...and it cost me more than ten grand, so I can't say I'm sorry for the company, but I'm very sorry for the people.

Bad news for the DHL workers

I have a fair sized freight claim ongoing with them right now so I don't give a ....... about the company.... the people are a different matter
probably going to affect at least another 3000 people in the background also

working in 91 mate is a lot different to buying a bloody house in 91..... 16% interest rates, now that makes you skint immediatly with no way out,
I worked 7 days a week and at least 12 hours a day to dig myself out of that recession and this is going to make that one look like a walk in the park

Are you serious Will? Are we gonna see 16% interest rates ect again? (Not that I can remember that) I thought that we where past the worst of it, but obviously not!
Should I start to be worried?

I had three houses at the time (don't ask!) three mortgages at 15-16% and couldn't sell for nearly a year, one of the cottages, which was valued at £85,500 eventually sold for £49,000!
That's when my hair started falling out...

For Christ's sake you guys.
I tell you what, I have just started a business selling sharp knives - if anyone fancies slitting their throat I'll do you a good deal.
Whatever happens, happens. Deal with it WHEN it happens. We all did last time, and we will do it again.
This is the frigging Mopar Muscle Association Message Board NOT the Marjorie Proops Peddlars of Doom Pop Yer Clogs Manic Depressive Knitting Circle.
Get a grip for F's sake.
I am starting to wonder why I bothered coming back to post last week.
(and before someone else says it, you all thought that too)

That right Clivey! Lets get rid of the general section. And the Non-mopar for sale section. And the MOG section while we're at it. Because lets face it, its a MOPAr site after all!

If there is one thing Brits love its bad news, and then Chinese whispering it into terrible news.
I don't have a problem with General posts etc., but it knarks me off no end when there are so many posts of people crying in their beer. I have had enough of that later.
Be thankfull you aint horizontal staring at a plank of silk-covered oak.
