you will need to establish if its a transmission built by B&M or if its just a transmission with a B&M ratchet shifter on it.

i know nothing about either but suspect the latter

B&M been making shifters for a long time so i guess they are reasonably good at it

have a mootch for their products on the net and see if you see what the car has

i take it all back

http://www.carcraft.com/newlook/crc_act ... index.html

http://www.builtbynotorious.com/bmstandsttrd.html

still worthwhile working out if its built by them or just shifted by them

don't want to pay for a souped up box if all you get is a shiny shifter

No difference in maintenance.

It will shift firmer and faster.

Has it got a normal shift pattern? Manual valve body? Reverse pattern?
