68-70 B-bod Console - help needed!

Starting to piece together the bits n bobs we've got so far for our Satellite's console - some new, some old & some missing!
According to the pic in our service manual (below), there's a part we need but havent got yet, labelled up as 'extension'. It mounts to the back of the console (which we bought new from Dante's) and supports the bit of trim they call 'bezel', which we have (thanks to Clivey
). Dante's dont supply this part for some reason; dont even know if it's plastic, like the main console body 
Question is, does anyone know if this 'extension' part is available new (repro) or know a good source of reasonable used parts?
Would also be useful if someone had one, fitted or preferrably not fitted that could be photographed for us to see it in a bit more detail than in the illustration.
The car didn't, as far as we know, come with a console as standard. It's had just a crappy B&M Z gate shifter since we've had it, therefore none of the console mounting brackets are present. We'll have to knock some up or get used ones as we don't fancy paying $150 for repro. Anyone got any knocking about?
