Lots of Allisons found their way into cars in the '60's, you could pick brand new ones up dirt cheap as the military cleared out thier old stock.

Guy said that Alisons are now going for $40k a pop, as opposed to $50 when he started the build
$40k x 4 engines, your gonna need deep pockets to restore that baby.......
