Genuinely cannot remember what this is. Any help please???

The bottom bracket thingy with the round cutouts.

Nah, don't think so. It might be from under the dash though i spose. It is very heavy gauge steel.

I hoped you might recognise it mate. I have never seen it before. I reckon my powder coater may have put it in my box of bits my mistake :?

if thats the part ..it looks like to me !!!

seen that part on a lot of 1970 XH & XP chargers with factory single exhausts ... its mounted on the passanger side rear chassis rail next to the fuel tank , about a coulpe of inches before the chassis rail starts to bend up . have seen it on a a few XS car before , but it lead me to think of a rebody :? as i was not sure what it was doing on a duel exhaust car .. :? , a nother theory i had !at first was , it might even be some kind on sheild , to make sure the ECS pipes on a california cars don't run close to the exhaust !! , but seen cars with that bracket ..that have never had any sign of ECS ! , not seen enough cars to be sure !

Simon, I dont eat meat and have not for about 18 yrs. my body weight is exactly the same every year, my health is good and I can still surf (hard work, honestly)for 2 hrs at a go even though i just turned 49.
That said, i never get involved in food politics or preach about it and I aint now. Enjoy yer Chicken Tikk a Masala or whatever yer poison ( :oops: 0 is :thumbright:

That wasnt on my car. Thats off someone elses, and thats why I didnt recognise it. :?
