why does this site seem to run real slow me and ray both think it does compared with other forums

Same speed, mate, just very few posts needs an injection of life, sooner better than later

i know the boards down on posts but really i have trouble postin and viewing stuff its that slow

I get that quite often Dunc but think it's more to do with problems up my end

As for lack of posts, I think it would be a start if the people working on their cars were to pull their fingers out & post more progress pics/reports

Slow site, Duncan? Did not know you could type that fast

The site has gone down a few times in the last week, the last time was late last night. But as always 5quid host have it sorted in a few minutes of receiving an email, even when I emailed them at 21:39 last night.

However I haven't experienced any significant lag in the site either at home or work. Even if other sites are running OK it can be the route that your connection is taking to a particular site, not the site itself.

Rather than just saying the site is slow, please can you post the date/times you're experiencing this and when the delay occurs (i.e. when submitting a post, a pm, a search etc.) and approximately how long the delay is.

will do that martin, to be honest i think its more tea time onwards seems ok now

Sounds like congestion in your local access area, Duncan.

Its slow now mate just posting a message like Dunc says is tough! when i open up the message ive got to wait before i can type and then when i do type it slows down etc.

Also when there are pics in the events section that are linked from photobucket etc its a nightmare waiting for the pics to load my computer hangs and then i get a message that my Virtul Memory is set to low
