Be careful. Do NOT regard them as mini-PC's. They are a poor substitute for a decent small laptop/notebook. I have had most of them. IPAQ's were severely limited. O2 Orbit XDA was even worse and not user freindly. Got a Blackberry now. Hooked up to my company's server to get all my e-mails etc. rtemotely and it works well except you cannot read PDF's very well on it. RTF's (word doc types) and spreadsheets are fine though.

The Apple IPhone is absolutely fantastic, but if it is PC capability you want, the answer is in the question.

Good luck Kimosabe ;)

Taa muchley Clivey, realise the use of them will be no where near as a lappy, basic use is all im after, looked a bit further, and answers back from other sources, it seems HP and Dell seem to be the front runners

Yeah, HP took over Compaq who had the Ipaq and that was the leader at the time.

As it happens, I have an almost NEW HP one with WiFi bluetooth and all the gizmos with a leather case, docking station and the box etc. sitting in a cupboard at home. It cost me £400 notes a couple of years ago. Could do you a good price if you are interested. it is like NEW.
