It is not an efficient conversion fella. Your best bet is to get a 'Gunslinger' conversion. It is a pistol grip handle made especially for the auto shifter. It slides on over the top of the original shaft and has an integrated switch for releasing the reverse lock-out. They arent cheap, but they doo look fab. Steve Beschi (all killer) has one fitted on his 'Cuda.
In my view, trying to retro fit the actual hurst shifter would be difficult and would probably look Pony.

Yeah but on a Challenger that would place the shifter handle up over your shoulder.

I have done that in mine, gunslinger real wood pistol grip on a B+M shifter, looks "almost" stock

, rev pattern, reverse lock out.... much taller than Daves, if you like that....post picture on friday
