Base jumping was always dangerous. But that is just mental dangerous.
Bloody cool though.

I was wincing just watching how close they come to the hard stuff!

There's plenty times you think, "He's gonna hit that in a second!"
Supercool! Just wait until they start getting into "who can pull the chute cord last" competitions, though.... Carnage to follow.

Looks like a made up con to me,i dont see how a baggy pair of overalls can support the weight of a fully grown adult. You would need wings 20ft wide.

Its not a con. They are not "flying". They are falling at 100mph but can shoot sideways a fair bit as they fall. Like dropping a sheet of paper.

A lot of it is in slow motion so they look like they are almost floating. But in truth it is 100mph.

What's all the fuss about? Nobody heard about boundary effect?

No way would you ever hit the ground at those velocities, at an angle......Honest!

The best way to fly is not to think about trying to keep up.
The knack is to throw yoursef at the ground with such careless abandon that you miss.
