I paid mine yesterday, takes up to 5 days BACS, it's supposed to be paid by 31st, Saturday. So if you don't pay it until Monday you might get charged interest. the way the HMRC are going I wouldn't put it past them. Have you noticed the VAT reply envelope now requires a stamp?

In the past, if you owed them a few pennies, they would overlook it if you did not pay by due date. Interesting to see what they do now. I guy here owes 51p. He just paid!

I use a very small accountants from the Wet End of Newport Pagnal Very cheap but worth it................................

Used there own BILLPAY online system- takes 5 days to clear but as long as you submit on the 31st - no late penalty applies!

still sticks in yer throat somewhat tho
