I've been nicking stuff off the NSRA again, I know it's a Ford with a Chevy engine, but check it out!

His times:
60' = 1.247
1/8 = 4.661 @ 172.14 mph
1/4 = 6.930 @ 207.66 mph

on 315 wide M/T drag radials,

Proline built 632 cid big chief motor with twin 91mm turbos or promod 90's.

Launch is not THAT quick, all done by the 1/8th; but by god, that's impressive.

It's in the link at the bottom of Ivor's post. :thumbright:

The video next to it (Unfortunately ends in him crashing it... :( ) shows a launch from a further away perspective. Pete's right, LAUNCH doesn't seem that quick! Guess it must be much harder to get the power down, right? :dontknow:

6s, though... Awesome! 8-)

6.930 @ 207.66 but previous run was 7.05 @ 223 :-k Lost quite a few mph on the 6 sec run with whatever problem he was talking about at the top end...

Coinidence you should post this Ivor - I've been watching one of Stu's dvd's this evening - Door Car Chaos 2005 (by the same people that filmed this run), and back then, also at Bradenton, best on Drag Radials was around 8.20 @ 170 :shock: Quite an improvement!
