Liking that...looks very realistic and better coverage than real chrome

Hmmm. Worth bearing in mind that one. Arm rest bases, headlight switches etc.
I would be happy to try that on a few small parts. After all, how do people like Y1 do it????

The stand i saw had a bumper done. It was so convincing im toying with the idea instead of chroming as my bumpers have some minor dents.
They even had a hotrod done in it.

Anton, can you report back with details of your experiences me old mate? I think it is fair to say that this topic has been the subject of much debate. Facts on the matter would be appreciated.

my arm rest have almost no chrome left on them so i have nothing to lose so i will send them to them soon. I have spoken to them and sent them pictures of what i want plated and they don't think it will be a problem. I will let you know the results once i have them done. I'm waiting to get a cost first to see if it will be cheaper to plate or replace.

I think both these companies exhibited at SEMA in Vegas and Roger was impressed...and he's not easily impressed!

When i looked in to it, there seem to be a few different systems, some rather better than others! The stuff i saw is the first of Ivors links.
