Just got back from seeing Bolt (in 3D!)

I went to cinema with a mate, we ended up watching bolt because the film we went to see was sold out.

We were issued with our 3D Two Ronnies specs and we sat down and cracked open our tins of smuggled-in Newcastle Brown. To our surprise it was 99% adults in the audience.

First up was a short 'CARS' film which was about Tow Mater in Tokyo, we put on our rather substantial glasses and sat back. Within no time at all we were wowing and flinching at the amazing 3D animation and were also laughing our tits off. We actually felt like we'd had our moneys worth after this little film and didn't care if Bolt sucked or not, but Bolt ..was AWESOME! I have not seen such an entertaining film in a long time, maybe the 3D just made it all the more special but seriously, having had a really pants last couple of days, this film made me laugh until I cried, and one or two other bits made me cry too but that always happens to me in happy parts of movies, most embarassing! I left the cinema feeling like I had been on an emotional rollercoaster but what a ride! Fab film, anyone else seen it? If you or your kids love dogs, see it. Heck, see it anyway.

Maybe it was the beer?

a dog!
It think this only opened yesterday so perhaps nobody else on here has seen it so can't comment yet. I had only seen the bus shelter posters but knew nothing more other than it was about a dog.

I always think films are best when you have not seen a trailer for it.

Yeah, watched it in China, excellent film. I watched the trailor in the back of a taxi, and a few days later I saw the DVD, felt compelled to buy

Si,
Its about a dog who plays a Superhero but only on film, then he gets to the big outside world & still thinks hes superhero.

Just back from watching this in 3D too! I loved the Cars mini film too, I liked it better than the Main feature but as you say Bolt was a crackin' movie as well!
