Tis indeed

be interesting to see how the V8 does against the competition

In Australia the historic touring cars have to conform to the spec of the date in question.

As Chrysler never fielded a V8 version in the 70s the mopar boys had to stick with the 6

however a V8 version was supposed to be on the cards for racing in 73 although nobody from CAL will confirm.

looks like the licensing people have relaxed things a bit

this should be interesting

well you would certainly alter the balance of the car with a v8 up front

the idea of the 6 was better power to weight ratio...

surly if they stick an anvil in the front end its going to eat tyres wheel bearings n brakes.

they tested the v8 in a charger like body in 1970 and came to the conclusion that it was not great for roundy roundy racing, however i guess they have access to a whole range of thicker torsion bars these days, and better shocks.

we will see
