hi im fitting a b&m shifter, but there was no shifter on car when i got it.so dont know how to set shifter up,could be simple but rather ask.cars not running at mo so not sure about gears.is pulling arm on box it forward toward engine putting it in park or 3rd gear?.cheers steve

All the way forward is park. Do you just have a used shifter or have you bought a new one? I ask because B&M use a shorter shifter lever than the stock Mopar one. You will not be able to get the shifter to work correctly if it has the wrong lever.

its brand new b&m megashifter,bought from summit it stated 727 thats why i got it,i hope its ok.

In that case you should be fine. Just be careful how you route the cable, if it comes close the the exhaust at any point, thermal wrap it, they melt and sieze up really easily....

No, it's pretty easy really. Go easy drilling holes in the tunnel, mate of mine got a bit carried away and drilled a hole straight through into the gearbox

Sorry Biff I wasn't think straight last night, I double checked on a box today and park is all the way to the rear

Read this last night following a problem i had with the lever hitting the oil cooler line (yesterday) , was rackin me brains thinkin "i'm sure the lever is toward the rear for park" , you had me up all last night thinkin about it (true)
