383 OUT PUT ?

:oops: Hi GUY'S I am a little embraced to ask this :? But what would a 383 put out power wise and I know this is a Big open box, But the Motor has 906 heads standard valves, a purple cam, headman headers with full Flow master 2 1/2" American thunder Exhaust, MOPAR performance dizzy and orange box a holly 750 vac secondary carb on a Edlebrock torker 383 inlet, The gearbox is a 727 with a shifter kit, rear end is a 8 3/4" with 323 gears No sure grip :roll: STILL WAITING TO FIND ONE FELLA'S ;)

I need to know a ball park sort of out put as I have No idea at all :roll:
The Motor was a fresh build last year and has only covered 300 mile top's

I think a 383 magnum is quoted at 330bhp.

Paul, get it on you local weighbridge, then get up to Shakey and do the maths on the ticket. Some good URLs posted somewhere for calculators.

I'm guessing the one-legger may skew the result somewhat. ;)

Rated at 330 yes. But rear wheel HP is going to be around 260hp on a stock 383.

With luck the performance mods listed will net you 290 at the wheels.

:) Thank you Guy's I may need a BIGGER MOTOR :roll: :lol: You know I can not find a rolling road around here that will tune the MOTOR for less that £200.00 :? Is this a normal price to set timing and carb :roll: I must be getting old :? 8-) :dontknow: :deadski:
The one I have always used, the car is 6" to long :evil: :roll:

I don't think you need a rolling road.
Just do the basics.

Reckon it'll run mid 15s , heavy ole car Paul , don't need no rollin road , just get someone who knows what there lookin at , hell of a lot of cars out there under achievin due to tuning issues , & i'm talkin about the bigger boys also , work out the power to weight ratio & there no where near the predicted target.
