Well, been threatening to make a start, so today had a quiet day and pulled it apart!!!!!!!!!

Freshen up or something bigger?

Just a few 'tweaks'

First off, new torque convertor..........

Don't you love those itty bitty ones

Must be a breeze pulling it apart with a tube front end and no inner fenders...

Yep Pete, had the motor out in around 3 hours!

Did you have lunch in the middle ?

I think we beat that on the Dart, including the trans (which makes it quicker).

Definitely the way to go if you are keen on speed and need to work on the car. Love it

Have to watch for scratches Pete!!!!!

I became quite proud of the number and age of the coffee cup rings on the primer Dart

It was a bit like your own botanical experiment to see if you could grow a new species...

Should have called Steve i would have come over and helped out...not busy myself at the moment

Absolutely mate, IF l can bring that 60ft time down to something respectable, (1.8 best yet), hope the 8" will do that, just putting on different heads, and larger nitrous jets, hopefully that'll put me around the low 10's at least........without the cheatin of slicks!!!!!
