....you should have seen that Chebby when it came in. Ithad had years of poor body repairs and was in a pretty awful state. Now, it looks like a brand new body shell. Thats going to be one fantastic car when its done - I know what he is getting john to do with it

There is one tell tale "fix" on all tri chevy's. That make or break the whole job. I have seen fantastic resto's on them..... But that one thing has not been done, and when pointed out it is a bloody nightmare. Love the colour though!

...so you aren't going to say what it is Jeff - just expect us all to believe?
It isn't a restoration. It's a heavily modified car hence the tubbed rear end.

Ahh.... Don't matter.... There is a big problem with Tri 5 bodies that ALWAYS needs fixing! Wilf Stacey pointed it out to me years ago.... Man that guy could prep and paint. Work he done 20 years ago, still looks new today.

It ain't no secret! Look at the car from the front..... Look at the fender sides,
Thy should be totally flat. Mast are not, they have a slight curve on them. Its the crappy rubber mounts the body is set on that causes it...
Looking at that black 57 over the weekend, that was spot on.
