How does the needles come off the clock and the speedo on a 68 Chasger

They pull off, be very very carefull or they will snap or bend, remember the speedo needle has a slight amount of pre load to hold it on the stop.

Cheers Alex, also what watt bulbs are in the instrument panel and can they be upgraded to make the instrument panel brighter, all the bulbs work but they just seem dim

Just change the bulbs for new ones and clean the lenses, polish the clear cover for the guages before you re fit it and the bulbs will be well up to the job! clean the circuit board where any contacts are as well, this helps a lot! I seem to be fixing instrument panels all the time at the moment!
