i know some on here have wanted big pcd conversion for a std kelsey-hays 4 pot setup on there a-body....
answer found!!
ive asked on verious forums and other than a ssbc loadsa-money conversion most just use '74 on abody stuff but needing uprights, top arm/balljoint conversion.. that are getting hard to find plus with calipers moved to the front the std swaybar cant be used etc....
seems its also not just a straitforward job to redrill hubs too on the std 2 piece hub-disc combo...
but i found this and thought id share.....
enjoy.

looks to be the cheep/easy option esp as mustang stuff is great prices too..
this would also open the door to one of the many big caliper/disc conversions that the mustang Fraternity is so used to..

No news to me.
My Aussie Charger had 4.5 inch bolt spacing even though it is theoretically a Mopar A-body.
When i had to get pads for the front discs I took it to Rodley Motors so they could see if they had anything to fit (you couldn't get Aussie Charger bits over here at all in the early 80s).
One of the guys had a mid-60s Mustang and thought they looked like his. He was right. The Mustang pads were exactly what was on the car. He said the discs and calipers looked Mustang too.

yeah you are right..
the pads and calipers are exactly the same... just look up the part numbers for that...
the reason i posted this is because ive have asked on here and other forums and i always get the response that "nothing fits the small spindles..
ive found the ssc or whatever kits but they are loadsa money...
then i came across this thread posted above...
only posted because ive spoke to lots of people that have the same problem and none had the answer to a cheep effective large pcd conversion..
-u cant drill the rotors there is hardly the room..
-the other std mopar dics/rotors dont fit this spindle..
-if u do the normal later upgrade u have to swap uprights/spindles, cant use the orig antiroll bar plus u will have to use the later calipers and not the orig 4 pots which work better...
so i thought about using other hubs or even making ally ones for nissan discs (same pcd) but then found out that the mustang rotors used the same bearings and with the fact that KH designed both.. i went looking and foud the info above......!
that is why i posted it..
also most people should know that mustang upgrade AND std parts are much easier to find and cheeper than mopar parts...
so there are loads of cheep upgrades that can fit easy... it opens up a whole new world of upgrades...
that is the reason i posted to share with some what id found..
