Started work again on the Aussie Thing, fitted replacement door, so when i brace the car up its got a heavy door and not a lightweight rottern one.

Cut out a bit of the rot on the lower 1/4 and made new pannel, need to see how bad the sill is, think its just surface rust, apart from the last 3 inchs which is shagged.

My mate made me up a new bottom window chanel, need to cut and rit that and repair the rest of the rear window frame.

Anyone who replies to this thread with the quote "don't worry, that'll buff out nicely" will go into the MMA stinky book!

I tell you what Craig, the work that's going into that would make a great ongoing picture and caption feature in Connected...go on, you know you want to! :thumbright:

We could also use it as evidence in the psychiatric report when we get you committed. :thumbright:

it will probably be compatible in all but length

maybe a bit of shaping to get its arc right for the rest of the skin but the section to the rear ach looks much the same

Craig

i'll dig those wings out

have to say mine are better on the sections above indicators but look like they lived in a bog for years

Got some work ahead of you there mate!! - Get in touch if you hit the skids with parts. Charger panel won't fit between door and wheelarch if you need to cover the whole distance, Charger's heaps shorter.
Couple of very solid C by C sedans on Ebay down here at the mo which could help you out for front end panels if required. Have to look into shipping costs etc.

Be carefull with that Charger roof as well. The contour changes somewhere along that distance, be fine for the A pillars though.

Out of interest, which UK Charger died to provide that? Just want to make sure I cross it off the list.
