Vanishing Point - The Return

Well. On Friday Wayne flys out to Indianapolis.
I am flying down to London on Friday and heading for Indy on Saturday. Hopefully I will be met by Wayne and a mad Yank called Eddie.

A few hours after I land we set off for Denver on Eddies Dodge Truck and a 20ft box trailer filled with supplies and a numbers matching 440 6-Pack 1970 Challenger 4-speed. The plan is to try and get as many miles under our belt that night. Hopefully with only one stop over.

We need to be in Denver sometime Monday. We are meeting up with a couple of other guys there and at least one other 1970 Challenger.

On Monday night/Tuesday morning we start finding and filming locations used in the film "Vanishing Point". Then drive the route used in the film, finding locations as we go, until we get to Goldfield Nevada where in the film the DJ "Super Soul" had his radio station.
In the movie story Kowalski drives into California. But all the main film locations in reality are between Denver and Goldfield.

After a few days doing that we have to drive all the way back to Indianapolis of course. I fly back out to the UK on Monday the 5th October. Just 9 days after landing.......

Can it be done?
Will I make it back in time for the flight?
How much trouble can we get into?
How much sleep will I get?
Can I keep Wayne and Eddie out of the various cat houses?
Will Wayne and Eddie drive me absolutely MAD?

For the answer to these questions and more stay tuned to this channel....

....are you out there Kowalski?

who cares if you get it all done, sounds like you'll have a great crack trying to, thats if you dont spend too much time (& money!!) bailing them out

Trip of a lifetime - go for it!!

Back seat of an "E" body won't be fun for hours and hours, can't you take a "C" body instead???

If you're into vanishing point, check this out.

http://www.carlwalski.com/

This guy is the owner of the New Zealand Mopar Forum,
He's built his challenger as a replica of the one in vanishing point.
He's even tracked down the nz owner of the correct number plate and had it reprinted on a colorado style plate.
And he calls himself Carlwalski!
