727 no drive

hi can anyone help.got my car up on stands started it up put it in drive no wheels turning put some revs on & it turns but really slowly,box has been stood for ages plus its not a new one.is there anything that needs to be looked at?.prob the most obvious is oil did check it while car was running & in drive its bellow min it is show on stick but only just, obviously gonna put some in but would that be the prob.steve

obv,
get the fluid level correct run it up in n get a bit off heat in to it keep selectin the gears then check level in n just around the low mark will be ok for a gentle roadtest, if the car just about moves in any direction your converter is not to blame, drop the pan see if the filter is blocked if not it looks like it needs a rebuild,
and i know someone that can sort it,
