brakes sticking on, hydraulic prob! 78 fury

My new 78 fury's brakes are sticking on (the fronts at least) it has servo disc brakes.

If i jack the front of the car up, i need considerable force to turn the tyres, however, if i crack one of the bleed nipples off, and let a few drips of fluid out, both brakes free up and the wheels spin perfectly.

First thought was badly adjusted rod between servo and master cylinder, so i slackened the cylinder away from the servo , leaving a mil or so of gap, problem persists.

Car has new flexy hoses on it.

Do u think the master cylinder is duff?

Anyone had this prob?

Will

Had this problem last year Will.
It was master cylinder piston not returning.
Fitted new master problem sorted.

Either that or the flexy brake pipes are collapsing

okay, i just received my master cyl from W A S P . Couldnt say no at the price, 35 quid, (!) and it even came with pipes to enable me to bleed it. I fitted it and now my brakes DONT STICK ON ! Yay!

I think they deserve a plug for being so reasonable.
