I was queing (long and slow!!) to go into my first show in the charger today, I turned off the engine as she was warming up, - do you think she would start again :x ? no- she was having none of it!! and at least 20 british cars stuck behind me lokking at me with a grin  . popped the hood and the petrol was happily bubbling away in the filter. is there anyway to stop this happening ie, fit a fuel return pipe to tank? help start the car when it does? as it is very stressful when it happens!!

hello, yes you could fit a return line to the tank with a vapour separator , electric fuel pump with presure regulator, or move lines away from any thing hot or both, hope this helps

Insulating the fuel line or routing it away from the exhaust helps a lot. If the fuel boils in the carb(s) block off the exhaust heat passage through the intake.
